Everything connected to children is in the world of miracles. Especially here and now. I will never forget how the children from Atelier “Hug me” completed the incomplete “Blind Vaisya” story. Most naturally way they “put together” her eyes in the only possible way, through love.
If somewhere there is an invisible hierarchy of the goodness one could do, then at the top is to console a child, to hug and to love one. I love and admire what “Hug me” people do for children. What they do is not just for these children, it is for all of us because no society can be considered happy while there is even one unhappy child in it.
I hug you.
If a miracle is still possible, it is only children that could make it happen. The children from Atelier ‘Hug me’ read, illustrated and completed one of my stories, which had been unfinished for years. This is ‘The Blind Vaisha’ story. There were a lot of wonderful things that happened to this story, but one of the best was when I saw the children’s illustrations and especially the ending they came up with: now the Blind Vaisha can see and look at the present with both her eyes, because she discovered something very nice and simple, but I am not going to reveal what it is. I would like to thank these children who made it possible for Vaisha to see.
